Somebody in Vegas should be fired

Or maybe we’re just as awful as last season or worse? We’re obviously not playing freshman and we lost one of our best all around players from the past 10 years while still having the worst defense on top of a 2-3 zone in our history.

If we break .500 I’d be surprised.

so should VA and Ill also be .500 teams since they should have lost as big favs as well?

Thank you for giving me something to copy and save and smack up your head in March. Quincy and Griffin are going to elevate this team quit being so negative

Whatever pal, I’ll do and feel however I want about this program. I’ve heard the same garbage year after year and I’m done even listening to it and there is no more faith without evidence.

Year after year we have a game or many games that “there is no excuse” said before either a loss or close game to an opponent whom shouldn’t be on the same court of us.
Copy and save all you want, have been hearing it every year.

Emotional! You gonna be okay?

tell what adjustments we dont make?

You’re right, the adjustments made year after year is shortening the bench.

We’ve turned into a bubble program and there is no end in sight.

This statement can apply to practically every single program in the country.

We could start with playing less zone and more man defense. Lengthening the bench during the OOC schedule might help in the long run. Give JB a nice gold watch and thank him for his tenure. This might help with the first two issues. Attack me for saying this all you'd like, but you know that I'm right.

It's right in front of everyone's eyes - you can't miss it - but half of the fan base is pretending like it is not going on - pretty hard to compete with Buddy and Joe at the top of zone - these are literally 5 second 40 yard guys

There are more and more seeing things this way every year. I am not there yet but to not see the evidence and be frustrated at this point is to be on the extreme optimist end of the spectrum. Kadary is my hope in terms of things changing. If he gets buried despite showing promise.. I'm not sure I have much optimism left to hang onto.

I am all for more guys playing. but guys playing poorly doesnt help you win games., thats like saying lets play the 3rd string oline guys in the first half.

the zone vs man thing is the one everyone has an opinion on. teams that play man go to zone to hide people.. much harder to go zone to man to hide the issues we have. lets play all the slow guys in man D works well.

now if we want to recruit a different set of players to start with then have the discussion. Which power center is Marek guarding in man and staying around for 30 min?

Can't agree with the idea of switching to zone. If they blow by our guards in a zone what is a man to man going to accomplish? JB recruits for the zone and has prioritized 2 starting guards that can shoot over being able to defend. I'm sure he felt he could coach them up to being better defenders. It's early so there is still hope. I watched Richmond this past weekend, they had water bug guards that got in your face on defense and generated lots of Kentucky turnovers. The trade off was they were abysmal from deep...
