Are you trying to be a headache on purpose? You are correct. My original post WAS questioning his recruiting ability--because no one knows how well he will be able to recruit as a head coach which is a fact. Q did the majority of the recruiting to my knowledge.

Whenever a recruit made a statement about why they chose Syracuse it was always the relationship they had with Q, or it felt like a home away from home, or they wanted to get into Newhouse, etc. I've never read anywhere where someone said they came because the relationship they had with Vonn Read. Delisha and Q were the one's who sealed the deal with Cardoso actually.

Whenever recruiting was talked about you never got much detail on who was the recruiter other than Q and that might have been his ego wanting sole ownership on him. I do recall that Coach Amadou was brought back for his recruiting of foreign players.

As for the transfers this year regardless if it was Q or Vonn, it would appear their approach was based on Vonn's analytics of volume shooting of 3's. Most all of them are shooting better than last year's squad.

Vonn is off to a good start but before handing him the keys, I would like to see how he handles ACC teams. Louisville plays at a fast pace aggressive defense, NCState strong all-around, plus Duke, NC, Wake.

I think we are lucky that transfers are mostly upper class, experienced and played in power 5 conference, if this was a freshman class we would be having different conversation. So let's give kudos to them for their leadership.
