I don't pay much attention to women's hoop. Felisha's presser popped up in my feed. I watched. Thought you go girl. I have much respect for coaches that publicly stand up for themselves and rip a bad system. She was right about them being underseeded and thus getting stuck where they were. It's a bad system when you're seeding teams around what fits their geographic location so they don't have to travel outside the radius. Sure seemed like there were other teams that could've taken their spot.

There is no chance in holy hell that what happened on the men's side with Iowa beating Florida would ever happen on the women's side. It's literally impossible at this stage for ANY 8-9 seed to beat a 1 seed on the women's side.

First her take about everybody needing to be more positive about Red, and now saying she/Syracuse is being targeted by being sent to Uconn continuously. She is a bad take machine.
You’re getting dislikes but are absolutely correct. FLJ is such a great coach, and we’re lucky to have her but it’s not a great look regardless. Love her coaching and attitude for the most part but man does she have some absolutely awful takes.

Thats what happens here unfortunately, across all forums. If you have an opinion that is not 100% viewed in orange tinted glasses, you get downvoted. Is what it is. Think she’s a good coach and good ambassador for the sport, just think she’s had a bad take or 2 hit the press 🤷🏽‍♂️.

So I'm no detective but it sounds like you donated 100k
I did not haha. Let's just say the women's basketball donation I give is the easiest one. Though Football and Men's Basketball are much easier right now, 3 coaches I truly believe in now.

Coach Jack has really been getting hammered on alot of different media today. Mostly from loud mouths, who think they are sports experts and their comments show otherwise. Should she has chose better words probably but to see coments that a men's coach would ever do this is laughable. Saying she should be fired for losing that badly, the racists and women hating comments are unacceptable.

I was not born in Syracuse area or attend any college here. Work brought me here. I attended a few games every year before health issues. I'm a basketball fan, a SU fan, and while I'm living on a limited income I will make a small donation today to support Coach Jack and women's basketball. Hope and encourage you all to do the same. (No pizza or netflix for awhile, we all can sacrifice.}

Unfortunately, she is being trolled horribly on social media. I hope she blocks all those idiots...including the ones that claim they are Syracuse fans.
Personally, I'm glad she spoke up. I probably wouldn't have chosen my post-game presser to do so, but she got the word out.

And probably guaranteed getting the UConn bracket for years to come. ;)

My personal opinion is that letting the number 1s get to play on their home court is an unfair advantage and all these sites should be neutral. Level the playing field. Unless, of course, SU is a number 1 next year.

We got to host 1st and 2nd round games once...

Of course, the MLAX team got kicked out of the Dome for a weekend.

What they should do because the number 1's like UConn are going to draw anywhere. Ship them to one of the other sites. UConn will draw in South Carolina, and South Carolina will draw in Connecticut. And you might attract new fans when they get to see the quality of other player's.

I like FLJ, she is an intense coach, swears a lot during play, she also let's her emotions get the best of her sometimes. btw, I've been to the ACC tournament a couple of times, to say that people don't travel to watch women's basketball is not correct. There are plenty of teams that have a following with folks that travel to their games.

I have to think that some of the H0T Takes in this thread are from drive by fans who don't spend a lot of time watching the sport. She wasn't wrong with some of what she said, it just wasn't the time or place to do it.
Agree totally with your take. I think she just got caught up in emotion last night after an embarrassing beatdown. I cringed when I heard her comments, but I'm not sad we have a coach that hates losing that much. I'm willing to give her grace.

All 4 #1 seeds easily made the Final 4 as expected. We really need to get off the 8/9 line no matter which region we get sent to.
It also shows a real lack of parity in the women’s game. It’s the thing that will continue to hold the overall fan support back. Another reason top seeds should not get home court the first two games. Caitlyn Clark is not coming every year to energize new fans. I really like watching SU and think they play hard for Coach Jack. Unfortunately the casual fan of most fan bases will not really invest if their team has no real chance to win championships.
