Rumor on the football board is chancellor to be announced Tuesday. Hopefully that’s true, as that’s the first step to all of this.
Is the rumor it's Haynie?

Chancy knew JW would leave with him so, take a flyer on her as a possible in situ replacement. Cost little and allowed her to get up to speed. Completely undersold the disaster that Victory Heights is for Schiptt. Also is supposed to have been less than forthright with current AD budget shortfalls. Move on.Seems like she was parachuted in by the Chancellor and not AD. Seems crazy see would be hired considering all the negative issues she had at Pitt. Surely cooler heads will prevail and they'll hire someone else.
That goes with what I heard earlier in the week.Rumor on the football board is chancellor to be announced Tuesday. Hopefully that’s true, as that’s the first step to all of this.
It’s been Haynie since December but they had a late candidate in the running but should be HaynieIs the rumor it's Haynie?

If she is the AD after all these years I'm done. Been following SU since the 50's, and she shouldn't even be in consideration for the job. If you want a woman in the job, make it our woman's basketball coach. She has more credibility.I guess at this point I am not too positive with the eventual coaching hire.
Whoever the candidates are, assuming they are being vetted already and negotiations are in progress, has to know who the AD is going to be as part of the equation on NIL budget allocation right? If Leather Hykes is to be hired the coach knows his NIL budget is going to be slim.
I kind of have a feeling this next coaching hire, where we as fans all see it as a break or make situation being in the slump for so long, the admin may not see it that way and give it the same importance as we do, especially since they have an easy excuse of this happening at the same time as the AD transition. They just blame JW on the last decision before retiring. The current HC candidates may not want to deal with Leather Hykes and her NIL position.

Everyone talking about FLJ for other jobs. How about support her better at her current job so she could compete with the Geno’s, Dawn’s, and Kim’s of the world. Really Syracuse should be a Women’s Basketball powerhouse, it would be so good for the sport. Just like it was and hopefully will be again soon for Men’s Basketball.FLJ would be nuts to take the job.
You get none of the credit for successes, and ALL of the blame for failures.
I agree , but she is a person with great integrity and even if not her cup of tea, she would find a way to make it work.FLJ would be nuts to take the job.

Andrew Goodrich the Akron AD would be an obvious candidate. Spent some time at Cuse previously. So Dash provided a nice info nugget in another thread that there were/are 4 AD interviews today. Thanks for sharing that. Sounds like Tirico is back from Italy (suggested by AZ the other day as why things hadn't progressed yet. Thx AZ).
So at least 4 candidates. Presumably Lyke is one of the four. Perhaps the WP guy may or may not be even his recent extension. Sounds like from a comment Richmond made, he might not be interviewed. So that means three new names? I believe on the football board one of those names was mentioned but could not track that post down.
So any info floating around on who could compromise the rest of those interviews?
Thanks for sharing. I wonder what key experiences and candidate attributes are being sought with the hire. I think profile bigtime matters given next five years. There is a high probability in my opinion that additional realignment will be happening by 2028. We will need someone who knows what they are doing.Andrew Goodrich the Akron AD would be an obvious candidate. Spent some time at Cuse previously.

Tirico was in Boston doing the Celtics game last night. Would assume he came to town after for the interviews then?So Dash provided a nice info nugget in another thread that there were/are 4 AD interviews today. Thanks for sharing that. Makes sense. I think AZs reference in another thread was Mike was in Italy for the Olympics. It's great Mike would do it in person.Tirico was in Boston doing the Celtics game last night. Would assume he came to town after for the interviews then?
Someone connected here said Haynie is on “Team Lally” ergo pro Lyke. Clutch your pearls everyone.Yep and considering both a new Chancellor and new AD are coming in, hopefully not only does she not get the AD gig, hopefully they get rid of her
Are you thinking it’s Lyke?Assume done early next week maybe sooner
I doubt itAre you thinking it’s Lyke?
