I can see this game going similarly to the UNC game, although this time we'll cover. Hoping we see a few different things on offense now that they've gotten some live action.

The run defense is definitely going to get tested more than at UNC, but SU was flying to the ball on Saturday so I'm not too worried about it. But yeah it's scary to think about how the offense will do since Pitt is very good on defense

It's about what I expected. Vegas is also taking into account that Austin Peay played a shortened second half.

Of those lines, I'd take Louisville, UNC and UCF. I'm not sold on Georgia Tech yet. Florida State is a program in need of a purge in order to get better.

Pitt is actually a worse matchup for us than UNC because they are much better on the defensive side of the ball. If we couldn’t score a TD verse UNC I don’t see us getting any vs Pitt, unless it’s a defensive TD. Pitt may have the best dline in the ACC, which should be great for our stout running game that managed to get 68 yards yesterday.

I don't disagree but we've struggled over 4 quarters against teams with bigger lines, especially when they commit to trying to muscle us for 4 Q's. I feel like this is what Pitt is going to try to do and typically in those games, we fall apart as we wear down because we can't match the size difference for a whole game.

Pitt's D lost a lot of key players to injury and opt outs. A good result against Austin Peay means nothing to me. They're not better than UNC.

They may not be better than UNC as far as skill position talent but on the OL and DL, they are better for sure.

They are a team that starts to lean on your D with the power running game starting in the first quarter. UNC didn't run the ball much until late in the 3rd and the whole 4th qtr. Expect that to start at kickoff with Pitt and we will be gassed on D in the 2nd quarter.

It unfortunately speaks to what the opinion of SU is outside of the bubble of this board. No one should be pushing the Defcon 5 button after 1 freeking game but the red warning lights should be blinding about this team after that opening performance, save for the defense.

I don't think peer programs are ever 22 point favorites. Pitt was -25.7 for Austin Peay. Seems like the numbers would indicate that we are currently a peer program for Austin Peay instead. That is a really sad state.
