Because that idea was soooooo popular when they tried it the last time.
Basketball became a much better game when it dumped jump balls after every made basket. Lacrosse would be a better game if it got rid of faceoffs. They slow the game down too much, for me.
As for Nunes...relief pitchers and kickers? Baseball and football are the slowest games we have.
