One of the original posters I always remember.
So true. I got so much knowledge from his post. His writeups are as good as any business overviews as I have ever seen. I can't imagine the amount of research and time he put into them. I always tried to thank him as so many did. For me there have been so many members of this community that are special. We have now lost three legends. All unique, very different from each other. Each one of them providing so much fun and interest. Each one a gift that could make your day with one of their post. Our communities loss. Heavens gain.Heartbroken. Never met Steve, but read and listened to him for so long. When someone’s a part of your routine for 20 years, they’ve left a mark.
Rest well, SWC.
If someone wants to forward to him… they have my permission. You should send this to Brent Axe.
Omg this isSWC died last night (3/17) at 9:30.
Steve passed as he had wished. He fell asleep and didn't wake up.
For the past few weeks, there has been some discomfort but no significant pain. He has been in and out of sleep for the last several days.
A very well written article which well summed up how we all felt about Steve. That was excellent. The way Axe ended that piece really got to me.
That's so funny, that's when I discovered the board also. I would give anything to see a screen shot of what the board looked like then.I recall sitting at the desk waiting for AOL to connect via Dial Up … just to log onto “The Board.” I’m pretty sure that’s where I read my first Upside/Downside, circa 1997 or so.
A different way to read https://archive.ph/taGLCThat was excellent. The way Axe ended that piece really got to me.
