Otherwise just keep Alex until a new coach is found.

Any concerns or skeletons you are aware of on BH Jake? I’ve seen a couple takes ( not the troll) claiming he would be a bad hire. It’s hard seeing how he wouldn’t be a good hire but then too good to be true skepticism always sits close by.

I’m sure he’s a talented guy and it was only one year but I wasn’t impressed by the roster that was put together.

It might mean they already have their new coach and his GM. The6 want to give Kline as much time to find something else.

Yup of the names mentioned, Hodgson and Schertz make the most sense if Kline is gone. The other three Murray, Hop, GMac I figure Kline would stay on or be encouraged to stay on and if he was leaving it would be his choice.

As others have said- Kingz and Sadiq maybe Kiyan for a number of reasons too would be obvious guys I’d love to see back. Then whoever BH sees as good fits coming with him or on roster if he is the guy or whoever else if it’s a different outside the tree hire.

can i ask the stupid question, cuz maybe i'm the dummy, but if heather lyke botched
the job at pittsburgh so badly, both the high profile sports-wise and financial-wise, why
would one hire her in the first place as an assistant AD, for possible consideration as AD?
that don't seem to make a lot of sense.

(and i also think that needing a GM for a COLLEGE basketball roster is pretty pathetic,
but that is just a statement on the ncaa. nothing is going to fix that.)

wish him well. he'll be fine. would've liked to have seen how womack or fennell or
diawara could've fared, but apparently developing players is now left to the mid-majors,
so that the high-majors can poach them away. again, statement on ncaa. coaches
fighting the year to year battle for the tourney and NIL dollars are not going to be
developing players anymore.

you have to keep in mind that Kline wasn't finding the best guys, he was finding guys who Autry wanted. The head coach had final say on who was on the roster who was getting paid what (e.g., JJ and Donnie).

Kline did nothing special and was a part of the problem and not part of the solution.
At the end of the day, he put together and/or identified the pieces of a losing team snd deserves accountability just like Red and the staff.
You can’t hide behind a computer in the sports world for very long with no results.
