I legitimately thought I'd never see a guard tandem as bad defensively as JGIII and Buddy and yet here we are.

Sit Carlos, start Choppa and if we need a backup PG, just run the offense through Eddie because he can pass. Maybe Carlos or Cuffe can give us 5 mins here or there.

Maybe it was the zone but atleast with JG3 and buddy they’d get you 1-2 steals each per game. Starling and Carlos are getting like 1 combined. If you can’t even excuse the terrible 1v1 defense by always bailing for a steal and actually having some success with it, than it doesn’t really get much worse

Girard looked like Aaron Craft compared to these guys when he played man at Clemson.

We can’t have Carlos and JJ start in the backcourt together. They wI’ll be the worst defensive guard duo in the ACC. We need to force feed Moore minutes. He fights and is physical on that end. Any chance we have of being good is getting the 2 freshmen to grow up as fast as possible.

Agree. I would start Moore. He may have some freshman growing pains but we need his shooting, particularly while Bell is struggling, and I can at least see he is putting some effort on D and can understand what he's trying to accomplish.

I also would go with Moore. At the very least, it gives him experience in what may be a trying season. Carlos just hasn't helped us.

Three guys drafted. Tied with Kentucky for number of guys drafted. Second only to UConn in total guys drafted; they had 4.

I'm not saying fire Red, but a couple of four stars in the portal era isn't enough for me to keep someone.

Even if he's a bit under. 500 I'd give him another year. He 11 or so wins or less, I don't care if he recruits the dream team, this is his team and if something doesn't change fast we're in a lot of trouble that a couple of 4 star freshman aren't going to fix.

Not sure where the confusion is, this all started with the “even if he loses out” comment from bulldog. No one is saying no matter what he should be fired, just that it seems wild to think that if they finish 3-29 the university doesn’t look in another direction.
