You didn't even way the game sis you? An unforced error and a bad call that had nothing to do with rutgirls, and the score is closer to the ass kicking you took all day. Stats may not equate to wins and losses because mistakes have a role, but they sure can indicate who dominated the game.

Please. Our defense and special teams kicked the crap out of you. Our mistakes(ie Harrison dropping an easy TD to get a 30-7 romp going or our second string kicker mising PAT's, etc) led to things being as close as they were. You do realize your stats which obviously do not translte to W's were largely do to us playing a prevent style game once we got almost three scores ahead...

Bees, don't bother using logic. The guy can't even admit that Rutger played football before 2006, well, claimed to have played football, anyway. Since his knowledge is extremely limited, as well as his research, he probably cannot understand that sometimes a team gets lucky. Now, naturally, Rutgers was not dominated, though we had 200 yards offense more than Rutgers, and they needed help from incompetent officials as well as an unforced turn over to beat Syracuse, so, no, luck had nothing to do with Rutgers' win.

I havn't missed more then a handful of home games for over 20 years now along with going to most away venues atleast once.

Can you say the same?

Please make it stop. Go the fuccking away. Please.

You realize this is OrangePA's fault for starting this inane thread. We just beat Uconn and he starts a Rutgers thread extolling their virtues. The word trolling comes to mind. If he wants to be on his knees for Rutgers I'd appreciate it if he took it to their board. I'm sure they would appreciate his and IthacaBarrel's "attention".

You ignore how you got that large of a lead. You realize it was tied at half right? Were you in prevent? You realize that we were going for the go ahead FG in the 3rd right? You realize our OL slipping which allowed an untouched player to block the FG had nothing to do with your specials. You realize you only other TD was on a fumble that wasn't a fumble right?

You had nothing to with the 2 biggest plays of the game that allowed you to score more points and win. It doesn't change the fact you got your asses handed to you, just like last year. Our mistakes not brought on by rutgers handed you 2 wins.

Enjoy the MAC. Buffalo is looking for a rivalry.

again people lets follow the draft the next 3 years and see where we are at.. Anyone want to bet who has more draft picks? We may have 2-3, they will have 8-9.

Can't wait to see what happens if both Rutgers and Louisville are undefeated going into the final game of the season and the game is as highly rated as the one back in 2006.

I think I will avoid this board for two weeks after if that happens and Rutgers wins that game. ;)

Cheers,
Neil

You realize that Syracuse has very good passing offense, averaging over 300 yards passing per game. Oh, that's right, it does not fit into your little dream world, not a problem. We understand. Just go away. You can rely on a prevent defense, but, speaking from fan experience, it does not always work out well, Sugar Bowl, Syracuse v. Auburn. So no, we are not impressed that Rutgers played a Prevent defense.

LOL - of course they were - good lord you are delusional

I live 1,700 miles from Syracuse. (Hint: Htown refers to Houston, as in Texas) You win, you stayed in the cesspool called Jersey just to cheer on the Scarlet Knights. You are a better fan.

Question for you: Since you've been superfan for 20+ years, why don't you discuss Rutger's record against Syracuse over that period instead of the last few years?

Just saw this thread. There isn't enough beer in the world for me to be able to read it in its entirety. And has Morton Downey Jr. used to say, 'I'll zip it.' Rutgers is the past.

My co-worker, a Rutgers grad, wants to know what this "Sugar Bowl" thing is. Aren't the only bowl games the Beef O'Brady's Bowl and the Pinstripe Bowl?

Rutgers loses to Kent St. this weekend. Bookmarket.

Make that 4-0.
And that's just football...

This got me thinking:

(from the Big East media guide)

Syracuse:

Men's Basketball - 5 Conference Championships
Women's Basketball - 1
Cross Country - 2
Field Hockey - 6
Football - 4
Men's Lacrosse - 3
Women's Lacrosse - 3
Men's Soccer- 2
Softball - 2
Men's Swimming & Diving - 3
Women's Tennis - 1
Men's Indoor Track & Field - 1

Rutgers:

Baseball - 3
Women's Basketball - 1
Men's Soccer - 1
Men's Outdoor Track and Field - 1

Yikes. 33-6. I'd calculate regular seasons, but that's a lot of effort and honestly, this doesn't need to get that ugly.

Observations:

The only sport that Rutgers has more championships than us in (if you don't separate the two track and fields) is Baseball, which we stopped playing before the Big East started.

We have just as many championships as Rutgers in their best sport, Women's basketball.

Facts like these don't seem to matter to those SU fans who can't wait to prostate themselves at the altar of RU ftball.
Simply pathetic.

Why can't we simply leave them behind with Rutgers once we move to the ACC. Oh and revoke their access to the board! ;)
