Not Pugh, but you just described AET. If SU staff feels he is better than our bad OL then I would be good with a 1 year stop gap.
The further away from the ball you are, the easier it is to adjust and play right away.
 
Interesting thoughts. Our line was young but wasn't good last year. So we can use a guy that has experience playing in the ACC trenches but only if the staff feels he can pick up the scheme and start. The whole line comes back and should be more physical, we will execution better and there will be better cohesion. I agree with others, there bigger needs at RB, DE and DB.
 
We have plenty of scholarships to take this kid and fill other holes too. Unfortunately we will likely have two more open spots very soon too.

I understand that. And I am sure the coaches know that too. So if they don't think he will be better then they won't go after him...
