Based on potential He really did nothing at SC and left the team after 4 games. My biggest problem is that this kid was probably the most exciting offensive player we signed. I think defensively we have gotten better then we were last year, but objectively I don’t know how anyone can say offensively we appear to have taken a major step back, this kid looked like he could have been a difference maker.
That was my first thought as well. Look for some USC players to make it on our roster in the coming year.Fran’s gonna be pissed at that staff.
Yep, and also whining like crazy about Lane leaving and taking some players…but still sticking their noses into situations like this that just affirm the insanity of how everything is done now. Bad times ahead in Oxford, thankfully.Ole Miss is stalking us. Did anyone tell them we were 3-9?
Lost their head coach to LSU, replaced him with a first time head coach continuity hire. And scoured the 3-9 Syracuse roster for players.
Those hotty toddy fans must be over the moon.
Kind of like coaches who skip out on contracts, during the seasonI’m guessing a deal ( the deal) is done and Syracuse has something in hand from Ole Miss. I don’t like to criticize college kids but this fella seems to be ethically challenged. Have fun in Oxford (if that is possible)
As my grandmother would say, “your dead to us”
He really didn’t do anything at SC, he has potential, just like the skill position guys we brought in. The fact that we should have multiple QBs who can actually throw a forward pass is a big improvement at the most important position in any sport. I understand the concern about the lack of veterans in the WR group, however. A lot of talent still there but young and unproven. I like the running backs we brought in and hopefully the PSU WR the JUCO kid from LA and the Miami, OH WR can do some good things. And we did bring in a tight end who was productive, so while I don’t expect a 2024 offense, I think it will be solid and the D will definitely be strongerMy biggest problem is that this kid was probably the most exciting offensive player we signed. That's not at all how soccer contracts work. That sounds like the NBAIs this like in pro soccer when a guy will be under contract with a team but that team will sell his contract to another team?
Is it wrong to expect better from all of them?I am amazed at people who expect far better behavior and moral character from youngsters in their teens and early 20’s than the expect from the adults in the same industry.
I expect us to be more technically sound. Let’s be honest - McCord and Angeli before his injury hid a lot of ills. There is a ton of room for improvement for the defensive front 7, the safeties, the OL and the run game.He really didn’t do anything at SC, he has potential, just like the skill position guys we brought in.
