Intriguing kid. Doesn’t look like he has good speed but he looks good, good hands isnt afraid of contact, great size.
Looks like a tight end. That could be a red zone threat and a 3rd down and long guy.

6'5 230, appears to block really well, love his technique catching the ball, uses his size well to make space and his ability to get yards after the catch is very impressive.

Everyone has been looking for the next Gronk for a long time now. The Gronk factor in this guy is high. That film was fun to watch. What a monster.

Looks like he has a lot of offers from schools that do not embrace the forward pass well. I would think if we came to see him at this late date, it is because there is serious interest on both sides. Sure hope so.

Looks like he could be Colin Bryne's brother.

We need a guy like this...could even develop into an OT in 2 years

SU’s nearing selector status in the DMV.

Just need to get a foothold in Northern Virginia!

What exactly is “selector status?”
To be realistic we’re nearing, as in making progress towards, selector status. We’re not nearly there yet.

It means being able to prioritize and land whatever recruit in that specific area. Imo we’re still behind Pitt (god knows why), and well behind bama and psu in the dmv

Sweeney doesn't "look" that fast either, but no one can cover him. And at 6/5, no downside here.

Agreed -- he looks like a total package TE. We'd be lucky to have this kid -- hope we can swing it.
Be nice to get a visit .. only one weekend left before signing day. Maybe CuseLegacy knows.

Not sure where you're getting that. We've definitely recruited better there recently, but it will be harder than ever with Locksley returning. Have my doubts that he can coach, but he can recruit, particularly in the DMV
