Agreed. However I think after 14 games teams, especially the Steelers have had a chance to adjust. Its basically a numbers game. If you try to stop the big plays, Denver can run on you. If you load the box and stuff the run, Denver can throw on you, IF and only IF, Tebow keeps progressing as a passing QB.
Im so happy people are finally stopping with the stupid "Wildcat" comparisons. This offense is way more sustainable and multi-dimensional than the wildcat. The Steelers are the #1 defense in the NFL and are coached by a HOF legend and Denver showed when that offense is run correctly it is a beast to defend. The Steelers took away the run. Every friggin 1st down it was a run for 2 yards...over and over and over so good for the Steelers, they shut down the #1 rushing offense, BUT you leave yourself vulnerable to the pass and if Tebow can be even somewhat accurate throwing the ball they are going to be a hard team to stop.
I think the biggest problem with this offense long term is that the QB will get killed. I think with the right guy (Vick, young McNabb, even Big Ben) you can be very effective with this offense in short spurts, or maybe even for a season or two. But, if I'm building an NFL team I don't want my franchise QB taking 15 kill shots a game. That is what makes it tough to sustain.
