He was more that that. Guy was the entire offense for SD and more than capable of handling that role. He got snipes a few picks before I was going to take him back in round 4 I think.

I would guess 69 speed and 75 hitting power for Smith. Just a guess though, I was hardly ever Buffao. I do remember him being by far the best DE on the game though.

Could be. That would make him the fastest and hardest hitting defensive player equal with LT who I know was 69/75.

Do the new tecmo games have guys rated higher than this?

Just that fraction of a second his quickness gives you helps you dive through the middle and get the slow QB's an extra time or two a game. Plus it puts the threat of it in your opponents mind which I always liked. Taking away options is huge on that game when you can do it.
