The Naked Nancies select Art Monk, WR, Redskins
Well done, brother. Solid wideout.
Any team can beat any other team, to this point.
It all depends on strategy, a little play guessing luck, and your sega thumb with button A.

Edit: I will update the list above to reflect Monk.

Way to select an SU player! I was going to take someone different with my next pick just to make sure I had one of them on my team.
I might have to do the same, either SU alum or NY Giant. Not sure though, only a few guys out there that are decent, but would have taken Joe Morris in a heartbeat if he was in this season.

With the 9th round #? pick ImperialOrange selects Jerry "Wrecking" Ball DT/DET

100% thought he was going to be Tee's last pick. Green was on my short list as well if you took Ball.

Right on cue as expected : ). Great pick - one of the most dominant lineman in the game. So much I would say he is as much of a steal this late as was Long.

Some observations from the 2013 game. It is AWESOME. I have only played 2 games with Patriots and obviously am 2-0, but its just not fair with Brady, Welker, Hernandez, Gronk, Ridley. Second, you change your playbook during the game which is awesome. Third, at halftime it shows your stats for the first half a la the end of the game. EVERYONE who is a Tecmo fan should download the free 2013 version as long as you have an NES emulator on your computer.

Can I play it in it's original form where teams can't change playbooks in game? Call me a purist but that kind of bastardizes the game.

Yeah sorry to swipe your pick but I had him starred and circled on my list at work. I'm glad he was on the board because I won't be back to work until Friday and will have to depend on my spotty memory if my picks come up prior.

You get 8 plays, but get an option like change to go to playbook and change a play. Like New England had a QB draw play and I didn't realize it until I played and changed it. Brady is as slow as Marino, but the game is awesome and RG3 is basically QB Eagles

I was looking at Jerry Ball good pick, Alsacs selects an underrated RB from the Phoenix Cardinals Johnny Johnson. He will be my KR as well, and is good player with good speed.

I am now 5-0 with the 2012 New England Patriots, and Chander Jones leads the NFL with 25 sacks. Last game I was leading Peyton Manning and Denver Broncos 35-28 on the last play of the game Steve Gregory intercepts Peyton and fumbles the ball and Eric Decker recovered the fumble for a TD, but Jerod Mayo blocked the XP and the Pats win 35-34. Digable is still on the clock.

I don't try to block extra points, I try to keep the gameplay somewhat realistic

is the computer tougher in tecmo 2013? I've played 5 games so far and 2 of them came down to literally the last play of the game.
All 32 teams are good I think. I beat the Titans, Cardinals, Bills in blowouts by 14+ points a game, but the Ravens were tough I only beat them by 7 and the Broncos by 1.

oh no worries - I def didn't expect him to be there when I picked. Ive still got a couple of tricks up my sleeve.

OMFG, play with Vick oh goodness he is UNSTOPPABLE. I was trying all the different players in the 2013 Tecmo game, and I take back what I said about RG3 being QB Eagles. Vick IS FASTER than QB Eagles and you can't stop him. I played an exhibition game with the Eagles and ran for 300 yards in one HALF with Vick. I finished the game with 400 rushing yards and 200 passing yards.

Round 9, DigaBills selects Jay Novacek TE/Cowboys

When I played with the Cowboys (yes a Bills fan playing with the Cowboys) my favorite target was Jay Novacek. At this point in the draft I figured he was a bit better value than the undrafted WRs.

I really liked the Jerry Ball pick. One of the few DTs I would play with. Great pick.

If the rest of the board finds out Art Monk wasn't the 1st overall pick in our draft there will be threads saying we aren't real Syracuse fans. Someone manipulate the first page to say he was drafted before the draft even began or something.
