Tennessee Postgame

It's nice seeing and hearing that our defense is the tough defense to play against. Great effort, great defensive effort. Everyone should just savor the win as should players and staff. Its been a slog. Time to enjoy it for one night.

4 guys balled out. Kingz, JJ, White, Kyle. I watched Gillespie and Tennessee carve up Rutgers and beat Houston. They only got off 13 three-point attempts against us. Our defense was excellent again today. Including JJ.
Sadiq is the kind of guy we never have on our roster but always need. All he wants to do is rebound and he brings a nasty streak. With him and Kyle we are so much tougher in the paint. Love his game.

Really curious how far an inbound passer is allowed to back up to throw it in.
Here he's caught the ball. Is on his way down. The clock is still .4. It doesn't start until his feet hit. Crazy.

ESPN is the absolute worst with that. They pipe down the crowd noise so it sounds much quieter than it is. They do this for all sports and I can’t figure out why
Cameron sounds like the roof is going to blow off right now

I said the same exact thing. Never seen that. Bc if he’s closer sadiq tips it for sure
Here is the throw-in rules from the NCAA Rule Book. According to "c" below, it sounds like you need to keep at least one foot over the designated spot where the official hands you the ball.

Art. 8. The following pertain to a designated spot:
a. The designated spot is the location at which a thrower-in is presenteddisposal of the ball out of bounds as in Rules 4-11.1.a through .c.
b. The designated spot shall be 3 feet wide with no depth limitation.
c. The thrower-in must keep one foot on or over the designated spot untilthe ball is released. Pivot foot restrictions and the traveling rule are not ineffect for a throw-in.
d. The thrower-in shall not leave the designated spot until he has released theball and the thrown-in ball has crossed the plane of the sideline or end line.
e. In arenas or gyms where there is insufficient space along the out-of-boundsline for a throw-in, an official shall require the defender guarding the throwerin to move back a reasonable distance to give the thrower-in an opportunityto make a throw-in.
