I think Barbarella may be legitimately the worst movie ever made.

Just watch the opening credits and then go do something else.

There are many contenders for the most unintentionally funny film ever made. Robot Monster (1953) and Plan 9 from Outer Space (1959) are usually the main contenders. But I saw this one years ago and it has stayed with me:


The gila monster just crawls through the film, wondering how he got into this mess. My favorite scene was when the wall of a gym falls down during the school prom and the teeney boppers are twisting away. One of them, in a colossal editing mistake, looks at the gila monster and says "Oooohhh... It's Elvis!"

I should've added a qualifier as the opening credits are quite, quite good.
