Dungy's injury history and just from what Ive seen overall the last two seasons with injuries. We need as many high caliber QB's as possible. FSU QB went out today, they didnt have Golston. The next kid they brought in was terrible. They would have had any chance to win if the starter hadnt come back in.

Not going to get a graduate transfer unless we are going to make him a starter. We don't need another Drew Allen.
 
Wondering if Dino will go after him to jump start the offense. Can never have enough QB's as we saw this year and would give Dungy some time to recoup from the beating he took this year... He's a great talent.
 
Even without the injuries, I just don't see a high caliber QB in Dungey. I'd welcome another QB into the mix.

I was never big on Allen. He never took significants reps at oklahoma, never won any games for them. That was a recipe for disaster. We need a plan behind a plan. I like Dungey's playmaking ability be he has alot of work to do. Better scheme for him or not, it won't matter if he doesn't get smarter and not take unecessary hits. He needs to get the ball out quicker, add more zip to his throws. He cant rely on extending plays all the time. We have to have a valuable back up plan

Sure, but no graduate transfer is coming here as a backup. Personally, I think Dino will alter the way Dungey plays.

No Dungey is the back up plan . Im hoping Babers can change that. He has to throw the ball better. His best throw is on the run. That's his best asset and we dont want to totally take that away from his game but we also cant live and die by that.

That is exactly what was said with Hunt and Drew Allen. You are correct that Dungey throws well on the run, but he also has an accurate long ball. I think he is better than you think.

I love Dungey but he has flaws. I will say the same to my mom if she was the QB lol. He is a freshman so he is suppose to have flaws. There's no denying that he has something special. Im just stating the obvious, and that is he's a great playmaking QB that needs to work on other attributes of QB play. I want to see him consistently good and not occasionally great. Being consistent with his reads, progression, decision making and his accuracy on intermediate throws. Im not ready to crown him yet
