I don’t care what recruits did or didn’t do based on the existence of BS.

I know what I see on the court and I know who I think is talented and who I think is not quite as talented.

We would have SIGNIFICANTLY more wins this season if Sidibe was healthy. I am certain of that.

And what I see is that if we are ever going to be Syracuse again - I mean really be Syracuse again - players like Sidibe are coming off the bench, not essential starters.

And at the very least, if a Sidibe goes down, you have an equal player ready to step up. Immediately.

Your point is that even though he just had an entire healthy season that Boeheim should have known he was going to get hurt in the first game this season and done something differently?

Chronic knee issues for a big man? Those typically don’t go away for good.

Adding talent is not a bad thing.

Agree, but Rak was a great rim and paint protector his sophomore and junior years (his offense started coming around as a junior). He was a much better shot blocker than Sidibe (he had a 7’5” wing span), but Sid’s defense really started to come around last season. And, yes, a healthy Sidibe would help this team enormously.

This is a bad take. Sidibe is not a limited talent.

Sidibe was playing so great toward the end of last season after battling through injury issues his frosh season.

Guys like Edwards and Braswell in two years haven’t shown the general aptitude and physical gifts that Sidibe showed in his very first game in Orange

Sidibe is not better than the 2 NC State bigs - the one who sat last night and the one who torched us. He would make us better but this board has him as the second coming of Bob Lanier.
