That duke loss was big

Thats gotta drop them down to the 2 seed line (although its duke, so they could still be the overall #1), and if carolina beats them wednesday then unc is probably back on the 1 line. Id love to get duke as the 2 in our bracket and carolina be a 1 somewhere else. With the acc move i just got a feeling the committee is gonna match us up with 1 of those teams for a potential elite 8 matchup. Id rather not worry about unc till the final 4.

Been waiting for the RPI to update to see how much this extends our lead. Naturally, the ratings which are "updated daily" haven't been updated since Saturday.

Lets win our 2nd round game against a Michigan type team before we worry about beating the 1-2 line teams... the games against the Michigans/Marquettes of the world scare me more than the big boys in the NCAA. SU just doesnt seem to lock in against those middling seeded teams.

These last 2 duke losses are major red flags for me.

Duke does not lose at home to these types of teams. I look at this loss the same way I looked at Pitt's early season loss to LBSU. It's a sign that this team is not what they typically are.

I don't think Duke is terrible, but I'm not expecting them to be any kind of threat for the final four at this point.

I didn't think Duke was a threat for the Final Four the year they beat Butler to win it all. I never count those Duke teams out anymore... they seem to hit 3's when needed in March (except for the JJ Redick era)

Plus they somehow always get very favorable draws. Duke got the EASIEST path to the final 4 in 2010, and everyone knew it as soon as the brackets were announced. Kansas, Syracuse and Kentucky were easily the 3 best teams that entire season, duke was a very distant 4th, if you could even consider them the 4th best team. Yet somehow duke jumps us to get the 3rd #1 seed and gets the easiest draw of anyone.

I thought we had a great draw the last two years... didn't turn out so well.
