Moore fixing gambling? Dude that's definitely not what I thought. Seemed like frustration. Moore doesn't seem like the type -- hard working dedicated kid who is frustrated with his individual play and his team's play. I wouldn't read into it.Don't lock this, this is what everyone is thinking, you can't make people stop

I thought it was 14.5 and I thought it counted, sorry about thatSyracuse was getting 16. O/U was 139.5
We lost by 14.
And the 3 didn't count.
No difference between 14 and 11.

My mistake, just trying to figure out how someone can do something so idiotic
Someone should've come off the bench to blow him up
This isn't a hard concept to understand. Or, maybe it is.You don't fix games with makes, you fix them with misses.
Former BC and CCNY players nod their heads in vigorous agreement. You don't fix games with makes, you fix them with misses.
ConvolutedLol right, the fix was certainty that Choppa would be in at closing time and capable of making a mad scramble to get the ball and make a heave.
Let's take an Occam's razor lens here - you could see on the previous possession that Choppa played tighter D than normal for the time on the clock and score. He hasn't been playing, so combined with the losing outcome he had some frustration to work out. He saw an opportunity at the end to steal the ball while Clemson was doing a little premature celebration, and since there was a little time on the clock, tried to make a heave.
Or, maybe let's go with Millhouse's convoluted gambling theory, which would also be illegal and endanger the program.
Right.
I bet you're a joy to play sports withIt’s a basketball play with time on the clock. I have zero problems with it. Spare me with the unwritten rules bs.
Probably they were like screw this guyWhy didn't the shot count?
I swear it was off in time.
You can bet the game at just about any point spread you like nowadays.Of course the more points you get in your favor the more juice you pay but I bet a lot of football games with alternate point spreads.Syracuse was getting 16. O/U was 139.5
We lost by 14.
And the 3 didn't count.

When the other team has the ball not trying to score and your coach tells you not to foul, that's it. I can't believe anyone wonders about thisI'm trying to figure out at what point (time on the clock) or point differential should teams/players stop competing? Cuse was down ~15 points with a little less than a minute left to play, yet they were still taking fouls to prolong the game. Realistically they didn't have a chance to win at that point, yet no one seems to have a problem with that strategy or says anything about unwritten rules applying to that scenario. However, Moore competes until the buzzer (despite no chance at winning) and he is vilified for his actions. I'm not saying that I completely agree with it, but also don't think its as big of a deal that some people are making it out to be. I have a bigger issue with the team/players not competing for 40 minutes.
It was after the buzzer, I just looked for the heck of it. but I doubt they reviewedProbably they were like screw this guy
