The all-inclusive Rutgers dumpster fire thread...

There's a Rutgers fan base of about 20,000.

But New Jersey will only support a big winner. And Rutgers may never be a big winner in the B1G.

I hope the MBA's that did the analysis that led the B1G to bringing the "sickman of Eastern sports" into the B1G lost their jobs.

I haven't seen anything about Rutgers' game. The 3 completions, does that include pre game warm ups.

Urban put a hurting on his former student, I guess you can say Rutgers was left to ashes.

Wow Michigan is a 30 pt favorite at RU. I would say RU is approaching Kansas territory but I don't want to insult poor Kansas.
That's SU From GRob era spread ... WOW

I say RU by 28 they have the better athletes, Michigan had hoped the hurricane would keep going north so they could cancel the game like Florida did with LSU and avoid the
one side loss to those great Scarlet Knights.

This gem was hidden in that article:

Rutgers averaged 34,168 tickets scanned per home game (announced average: 49,188) in 2012 compared to 33,104 (announced average: 47,723) last season. Scan numbers for this season are not yet available.

So they have about 15K phantom fans.

Awesome! Explains a lot!
I have friends that have bought extras to sell and eat the cost if they go unsold. It's generally worth it for the big games.
