I dont get all the the Rutgers bashing on this board, but lets pump the brakes on their 4 star recruit with the impressive offer list. The offers came BEFORE he transferred to IMG. He went to IMG and rode the pine this year to a kid who is a PWO at Minny. That impressive offer list likely doesnt include committable offers any more. Miami was giving the kid the cold shoulder. They wanted him to decommit. And not that rivals is the end all be all, but Rivals downgraded him to a 3* this most recent evaluation cycle.

He also lost his starting job at IMG to a kid that’s going to walk on at Minnesota. His stats at IMG and before that in NJ were pretty horrible. I think he’s probably a less talented Drew Allen.

Toad is the least “in the know” of anyone associated with Rutgers. Frankly I don’t know how this guy still has a job because his “inside info” is never even close to the mark. Look back at the kids he writes about, he probably has a record of 1 out of every 10 on kids the RU is even interested in. The guy is terrible.

Frankly, I’m not so sure why he is rated as high as he is but he’s still a good pickup nonetheless. Jalen Chatman is the QB most are very high on. That kid is going to be a player. Other than an odd throwing motion, this kid is legit and has his HS in the CA state championship for the 2nd year in a row. He will end up being a steal.

How is that a typical Rutgers fan when it’s written by the worst beat writer in the country? My wife knows Rutgers recruiting better than Todderick. If he just lists 50 candidates, he’s bound to get lucky. Guys a hack. I busted him once claiming to scoop other writers on a surprise commit when he changed the time stamp. I complained to nj.com and they completely removed the story.

Dino's buddy is the coach there and our Sean Riley is from Narbonne. DeVaughn Cooper OV'd here in 2016 and we've offered several other Narbonne kids (Pandy in 2017, Scott in 2018 ) but we never recruited that QB which makes me think he's probably not that good. At least 3 Narbonne kids have OV'd to Syracuse.

That’s a pretty bold statement, Syracuse didn’t recruit him so he’s not that good? There are a lot of kids that they didn’t recruit and they have ties too. That’s just a weird statement.

Like I said, Dino is great friends with that HS coach and Dino’s QB's put up video game numbers so... Chatman is either a really bad fit for our system (ie primary runner) or not a very good passing QB, take your pick. If he could sling it around we would've recruited him.

It’s really not. We’ve had actual success passing the ball. Dino has had a run of QBs put up a metric ton of yards and points.

He’s tight with the HC and didn’t offer, that’s all we need to know.

Literally the entire college football world knows that after his multiple horrifying episodes on the sideline over the last few years. He should have hung it up after Minnesota. Rutgers shouldn't have even offered the position because they knew this would happen.
