That is true.i know it is in poor taste to reply to your own post but it was supposed to read two four seven sports ranked them higher.
More truths:
The site you cite (a little pun for Christmas) makes money selling subscriptions to premium content.
The site you cite says Rutgers got verbals from 2 of the top 20 players out of NJ this class.
2018 Top New Jersey Football Recruits
Fans don't buy subscriptions to read that their program is in tatters and had another disasterous recruiting class.
Some fan bases are more willing to pay to get their egos stroked with lies and misrepresentations.
Again, I am not a Rutgers fan and my only knowledge of how they are doing is when their recruiting crosses over to ours. They took flyers on a bunch of kids from NYS Syracuse looked at and passed on. As far as I can tell, their top recruit is a QB who wasn't good enough to start on his HS team and put up awful stats when he did play. That probably is not a good sign.
Based on what I know, I believe it is highly probable Rutgers did not do as well as Syracuse did, but if you want to judge classes based on the gulliblity of their fan bases, yes, I must grant you that Rutgers had another great class.
