They are getting the cable money. But in almost every other area this is turning into a show for them. If this keeps up, even the B1G alums from other schools aren't going to want to spend Saturday going to New Brunswick to watch their team rolll over someone. It's just boring. And even for home games, how many people want to see Indiana roll over a non-competitive team.

And when do NJ cable customers start asking, "Why am I paying for the Big Ten channel which I never watch?"

After consideration I have decided to stop posting on this thread. It is like making fun of the handicapped. It was genuinely fun when their AD was so bad. but now I feel like a bully.

I just switched from Sling to YoutubeTV and now I get the B10 Channel in Albany market, LOL.

Will be good to watch the U vs. Ped St. and other marquis matchups... maybe I'll even flick on a buttgers game... you know, how you can't look away from a trainwreck and such...

The big problem with talking about that is it gets UConn fans all excited. They assume they are next in line..

Realistically, if I were advising the Big Ten and it had decided to dump Rutgers, my advice would be to go to 16 at the expense of the Big XII. I'd offer KU for 14 and OU for 15 and Texas for 16. And I'd make it clear that if only KU accepted, the Big Ten would stop at 14 - for a spell. If OU accepted and Texas didn't, then I'd beg Notre Dame one last time, and then I'd swallow hard and flirt with Missouri, and then I'd select #16 from among an esteemed group of Iowa St, Kanas St, Oklahoma St.

But I don't see Rutgers getting dumped. The football powers love killing Rutgers. The BT does need OU football to go with Nebraska to make its West halfway interesting, and perhaps it could land OU with KU.
