The all-inclusive Rutgers dumpster fire thread...

I think Sherrane's point is that Syracuse isn't as good as some posters think and Rutgers in't as bad as some people think.

The first part might be true as anyone who has watched the past few seasons might think (After VT in 2016 and after Clemson in 2017)

But if you read the RU posts on their board, they seem pretty convinced that this is a low point even against a history that is loaded with low points.

I don't know how this will play out, but I'd be willing to bet that SU win more games the rest of the season than RU does. I'd also be willing to bet that SU recruiting starts trending in a positive direction and that RU's keeps spiraling downwards.

The Rutgers program appears to be in a nose dive. It sort of reminds me of SU in Ben's last years and Maloney's first ones. They have a long term problem.

what sherrane would never admit is that Syracuse destroyed all those teams which is what a good team SHOULD do. There have been no scratch and claw missed fg type wins. see top 5 Oklahoma over Army.

Syracuse pummeled the teams on the schedule. 49.5 points per game and 523 yards per game while giving up 20ppg and 386. This is exactly what you want to see against weak teams.

If we played down to the competition and winning 23-17 I might agree with him.

This guy is just trying to fend off the exodus of NJ players to SU and others along with of course the always delusional "Babers was coming to RU" theme. Posting in Rivals is equivalent of posting with 8th grade boys with phallic issues. Any intelligent post gets ripped apart at the seams by the immature RU wannabees that never were.

Syracuse #50
FSU #67
WMU #79
Rutgers #118
UCONN #129

I think they'd be 2-2 vs our schedule - but what a game the Rutgers/UCONN game would be :vomit:
No it would not! Buffalo/UCONN would be a good game. Kansas/UCONN would be a good game. Buffalo/Kansas would be a good game. Rutgers/Wagner would be a good game, i mean if you like FCS football. Rutgers is getting boat raced by the Mac and Kansas, it's not like they played close games. Buffalo quit at halftime for cripes sake.

SU will win more games in the next 2 weeks than RU will this year.

Ya gotta wonder if the B1G brass is starting to think that this inclusion of Rutgiz was a really bad idea.

They are getting the cable money. But in almost every other area this is turning into a show for them. If this keeps up, even the B1G alums from other schools aren't going to want to spend Saturday going to New Brunswick to watch their team rolll over someone. It's just boring. And even for home games, how many people want to see Indiana roll over a non-competitive team.

And when do NJ cable customers start asking, "Why am I paying for the Big Ten channel which I never watch?"

Remember, Temple was thrown out of the Old Big East. It can happen.
not likely.they now have the med school back in the university and have world class research facilities, and sit in the middle of a multitude of pharmaceutical companies for additional research opportunities.

major research facilities as well as location.---read politi's article in nj.com---by the way he is a Major critic of ru football/sports--

17 point dogs at home to Indiana.

Not going to lie I kind of like the +600 ml. It takes an extra level of suckage to lose every conference game no matter how bad you are in a league like the Big Ten you should win one.
