The all-inclusive Rutgers dumpster fire thread...

I feel like I’m too young to be losing touch with technology and asking this question, but...

How do you go about transferring tickets to others? Like, if I have 8 seats but take a different group to each game, how do I go about forwarding tickets to each of them? And what if one or two don’t have/didn’t bring their phone?
It's a two second process, just put in a name and email and it's done. Who doesn't bring their phone with them? It's 2020...

Well, our ticket base does skew a little bit to the elderly side. I know at least two experienced gentlemen in my section just have flip phones...

Most do, but I do know a couple people with non-smart phones. I also know several women that love wearing yoga pants and don’t carry anything with them because they lack pockets.

You could pull up multiple tickets on your phone then. Or the box office can help if you reached out to them, probably.

Either way it's extremely simple.

I was referring to the content of the video you commented on.
Which was obvious from your first post - not to be snippy. And I don't disagree with you about the content - but the platform and the messenger are annoying.

That can usually be done within the app, although I think you can only do it within the same app. I've transferred tix via StubHub, Ticketmaster and the Cuse app.
I don't think it's a bad idea but what if you have lousy cell service or wifi are you sol?

Or take a screen shot of it. Works on airline boarding passes for me. Just pull up your photos.

Screenshots may or may not work, depending on the ticket provider. Ticketmaster digital tickets don't allow screenshots, because it is routinely changing the barcodes on the tickets to prevent scammers.

This thread has gotten off topic.

Look at this IROC driving circus clown...

It wasn't obvious from your post that you had seen it. It seemed to be more of a comment on the platform in general, which I am in complete agreement with.

This will probably severely affect my large purchases of tailgate tickets. We'll see. Not sure it will affect the @WMU game but maybe the @Wake Forest game. I think @BC is a lost cause. I'll probably buy 15-20 tickets and hand them out if cardstock tickets are still a player.

I already decided not to do a mass buy for Rutgers cuz they suck and makes my skin crawl.

edit: My older sister regularly told me that, I "made her skin crawl" when she turned 12 or 13.

It should make it easier for you. Now you don't have to mail or stand there and hand out tickets, you can email everything ahead of time and not worry about it.

I have a client that purchases over 500 tickets and sends them digitally...

I live on the west coast and was a first time season ticket holder last year. I didn’t make it back to any games, as expected, and distributing tickets to people was incredibly easy. I was pleasantly surprised.

I agree...but the issue is getting some of my Luddites to embrace digital technology.

Mark, I've just put my quill away after having written you a letter, the parchment sealed with wax. My trusty pigeon, Monty, delivered it to the city, where it will be sent by aeromail on the 4:30 autogyro to Siam. Who you calling a Luddite?

Guess they didn’t learn anything in prison.

For people that dont think Dohn doesnt boost rutty's rankings. Here;s content from yesterday's articles regarding ranking bumps. Keep in mind there hasnt been any camps, workouts to evaluate.

Linebacker Khayri Banton of Newark West Side is at the head of those rankings as the No.2-ranked prospect in the state. He is followed by teammate Shaquan Loyal, who saw a big jump all the way to the No.7-ranked prospect in the state.

Loyal is followed by wide receiver Carnell Davis (No.8), cornerback Alijah Clark (No.10), defensive end Keshon Griffin (No.11) and running back Al-Shadee Salaam (No.13). Recent commit Zack Taylor also received a rankings bump to No.1 in the country among long snappers.

Dohn goes on to say --Newark (N.J.) West Side cornerback Shaquan Loyal saw an increase from 84 to 88. His verified and deeper look at his film and workouts led to the Rutgers commit getting the ratings increase.

How can you justify that type of leap in rankings? saw some workouts? Look at film that he already watched and determined he was a 84 previously? I wish he looked deeper into everyones else film like he does with rutgers.

He also ranked their LS #1 in the country when 247 doesnt ranked LS's. Kohl's kicking which rates specialists has their LS ranked 42nd. Rubio Long snapping has him ranked 17th,

g Snapping has him rated #17. lol

And any of them with real value will jump ship as soon as a Michigan, Penn State, or Ohio State offer materializes
