The all-inclusive Rutgers dumpster fire thread...

Its a shame they are building off the hype of their best season ever, a season that gave them 11 wins but with 2 losses in conference and a bowl win vs. a 6 loss K state team. What a fluff job that was.
lol - come on Texan - that was a magical tie for second place in an 8 team Big East Conference season! and heck - they finished a full game ahead of two teams that have since dropped down to the G5 and only lost to one of those teams.

Dare to dream big Rutgers fans - with Schiano back, in twenty years maybe you can make a new hype film of the year he leads you to a 4th place finish in the B10 East.
god speed

I thought the NE was more careful in genera,l apparently Rutgers is the exception.

I always knew Schiano was a party animal. But in all seriousness, hope they all have a speedy recovery.

Rutgers is playing a key role in trying to prevent the 2020 college football season from being played. Nice job fellas.

Hilarious, but somehow fitting for Schiano and that garbage fanbase. Really, is anyone surprised?

Yes! This equals less losses for them so he can keep their BS recruiting pitch going to recruits (especially NJ recruits that can’t visit elsewhere). Once they start actually playing and continue to get blown out in Big 10 games that pitch goes down the tube.

I can see it now:

Undefeated season.

Undefeated in conference play!

Tied for the B1G conference title.

No team scored on the Scarlet Knights in 2020!

Please excuse me while I vomit thinking of Shady and his tactics.

The Syracuse Mets already claimed an undefeated season, so I suppose they could go that route:

I wonder if the players were running down to the Shore?
What sort of protocols did they follow?

I'm sorry but on the day when the Rutgirls' conference is the first of the Power 5 to postpone football until 2021, I just had to give this dumpster fire a little more fuel with a bump! I really wanted to see your team stomp a hole the size of Jersey in the Scarlet Knights this season too. It's also amazing how much UConn competes with Rutgers to see who can be the bigger laughingstock these days...

We did, too. We must all suffer in this time of trials. In other news, Greg Schiano has declared Rutgers has completed its first undefeated season. Quotes from his presser:

"PennState couldn't beat my Scarlet knights!"
"We are the B1G Co-Champs this season!"
"We blanked Michigan!"
"UNDEFEATED"

The Rutgerization of the B1G is complete. They have killed the whole conference.

I expected it was going to take decades. Their chi is very strong.

Funny part is he still couldn’t win it outright! Co-Champs once again!

Who wants to speculate how large an impact the Rutgers 28 player and staff outbreak had on the decision to shut down the B1G season?

Just imagine how irate PSU, OSU, UM, etc. would be to know that not only do they have to subsidize this steaming pile of a football program but that none of them can play this year because of that steaming pile of a football program.

No doubt it played a huge role. I am reading estimates for lost money in the range of $100M for each B1G program as a result of shutting down for this season.
Rutgers has cost the B1G over a billion dollars this year.

Ouch.

If they get booted they could take Yukon's spot in the AAC.
I definitely do not want to see them in the ACC.
