The all-inclusive Rutgers dumpster fire thread...

Luckily for them Minny's TE dropped the ball for no reason and gifted rutgers a TD. Fighting for bowl eligibility after spending all that money retaining their best players. With the easiest b10 schedule they would ever get.

Oops.
Are you saying that Rutgers financial management within their Athletic Department is questionable at best? And are you also saying that Rutgers football coaching is is suspect at best? Agreed.

Exactly that
It’s my shift to monitor this thread.

please stop BSing. You don’t have any evidence of financial mismanagement. Do we throw around money like drunken sailors? Absolutely! We have to, in order to be successful in the Big 10. But we also receive a lot of money too.

We’re 5-4, playing a very difficult schedule, while y’all are 6-3 playing a much easier schedule. You better pray we don’t face one another in Yankee Stadium because the result won’t be pretty.

The easiest schedule Rutgers will ever have in the B1G, you mean?

What difficult schedule Al?

Even the easiest schedule in the B1G is still a difficult schedule:

After Week 2
- Washington
- Nebraska
- Wisconsin
- UCLA
- USC
- Minnesota
- Maryland
- Illinois
- MSU

Easier is relative, and we certainly don’t have any freebies after Week 2. The Nebraska game was a tough, hard hitting game, which they won 14-7, but took out a lot of our kids. Up until Saturday, we were playing shorthanded, which is when some of our kids got healthy. Now we hope we can go on somewhat of a roll, but it won’t be easy.

Well, I hope for nothing but the worst.

RU fans were talking 10 win seasons and CFP Playoff aspirations before the season. Now it's a "difficult schedule".

This from the guy whose annual Rutgers football preview has them going 12-0 or 11-1.

Credibility ain't exactly your strong suit, Bergenfield boy.

No Penn St
No Michigan
No Ohio St
No Oregon
No Indiana

Easy a$$ schedule and you won't win 6 games. Your Coach is a Joke, and you guys eat up Dohn's inflated rankings every year.

Rutgers is a JOKE!!!!

Jokes on you because I’m hoping to win 8 Games this year. Our schedule is difficult enough. Didn’t need more difficult teams. Sure we lost games due to injuries and Got smoked by Wisconsin. But if we go bowling, it’s a good year

The Joke is not on me Al. Hell, even your own board is sick of you. I also noticed you started three different threads about Syracuse in the last Month. Obsessed with us or what?

Why shouldn’t hope spring eternal. What do we have to lose?
LOL...good answer...

Speaking of more important things...you ever go to Uncle Frank's in Dumont?

That was our go to for Friday night dine-in or take out with the kids for reasonably cheap, but good, Italian or good pizza when we lived in the area.

Really? You ask about financial mismanagement when you have to check record from decades past to determine the last time the Rutgers AD was in the black? And the AD still takes student fees, too.

If not for the Rutgers bank and other state resources, Rutgers AD would have been down, many times over.

The AD's total debt will never be repaid to the State, the institution, the students. And this is with the B1G money thrown in!

Sure, the debts are generally cancelled as they will not be repaid but Rutgers' AD has been one long and egregious financial mismanagement scheme for decades. If the Rutgers AD was a proper business it would have been bankrupt many, many years ago and never resurrected. Only by using funds, and never paying them back, not intended to finance athletics can the Rutgers AD maintain operations.

Ridicule SU all you want, you are not a fan. However, the SUAD remains a net positive to the university bottom line and rarely runs a deficit.

Anyway, check the financial reports for the last couple of decades and see how the Rutgers AD was in the red annually. And generally more so than any other university. That is the epitome of financial mismanagement in the CFB world.

Don't worry Al, I got this one. Hey, helicopters ain't cheap. Neither is daily eloctrolysis for Schiano. So what if the Rutgers athletic department steals from the students? Nobody cares, because Rutgers is a sleeping giant and will become the USC of the east...errr the Georgia of the north any year now.
