Shhhhhhhhhh! Don't tell Rutgers, it's all they got in football, that and the ESB was lit up in red when they defeated Louisville. Not much for them to hang a hat on in their more than 150 years of football.

Besides, if Rutgers ever realizes the futility that is their Athletic Department, they may realize losing billions of dollars to be the tomato soup can for the conference isn't cost effective and the B1G may have to add a credible opponent in lieu of padding their stats with Rutgers. Can the CFB world handle such a revelation?

Rutgers’ athletics deficit topped $70M again in 2023-24. But it still wasn’t a record.

Rutgers spent an all-time record to support its athletics teams during the 2023-24 school year.
