Romo has not thrown downfield a whole lot this year. It will come out later that he has been injured all season. Early on when he tried to go deep, the ball fluttered. Granted there have been several bad timed interceptions, he doesn't have a lot to work with.
The Cowboys have bad coaching, bad drafting, a severely beat up defense, a line that is inconsistent, receivers that take plays off or cut off their routes and bad luck. Other than that, there aren't many issues.
This is coming from a lifelong Cowboys fan. Romo is not the problem. He is often put in position to fail. He has many come from behind wins, but once in awhile, maybe the defense could slow somebody down so the games aren't always shoot outs for them to have a chance.

These numbers are from the last three years. I would say there are at least 20 teams that would love to have Romo at the wheel.

Romo is certainly not the problem but the past 5 or so games he has hurt the team and cancelled out the positive plays. 2 weeks ago in dallas watching him warm up you could see him flinching. It showed when he underthrew dez several times. That said, he called off the run too quickly at the line a few times and has thrown picks vs using the checkdown in critical moments like vs GB and Denver. I am a huge Romo fan but this team needs to force the run and make teams show they can stop it the way Norv use to shove it down the defense's throat.

Its nice at least we worked on the o-line. Need another guard and some d lineman. Win the line of scrimmage and it changes things.

Ware no longer is a superior athlete and needs to go. They don't even double him much anymore. Lee needs to drop 20 lbs and move back to safety. He has good instincts guarding the pass but just cant stay healthy playing lb. Austin needs to go as well. It doesnt matter though because Jerry sells tickets and will draft players who sell jerseys. From the look pre game and in my seats against GB there were at least 20-30k packer fans. Opposing teams love it as much or more than the cowboys. Jerry wont hang it up unless he stops making money.
