You can have an emotional connection to the team and its players, but you don't have to blindly believe them to all be saints who deserve your forgiveness regardless. Do you still consider an like DeShaun Williams a part of your "family" too?

so here is the difference in my opinion...guys who are really bad guys - who hit women, get multiple dui's, beat up other college students, etc - those guys i find embarrassing to the university and I really don't give a rats arse about. On the other hand a young guy, english not his first language, up here in Syracuse thousands of miles from home, maybe (i don't know this) not cut out for an american university to begin with. It's disappointing that this happened. It's bad timing. But it doesn't make me wish ill things for him. Now, if the thing with his girlfriend from last summer is true, that would change my opinion.

Additionally, some of us do actually know people make mistakes despite being older than 18 or 19, believe it or not. In fact, some might say we have a better understanding of this, since we've got more life experience.

Listen, Fab needed to complete 36 credits to be eligible. 36. Instead of playing for the Brazillian team, he shoulda been in summer school if it was even close.

12 a semester is so damn easy playing hoops or not.

I'd love to see any of us go to university in a place where it's our third language. I wish he worked harder, but it's at the very least understandable with Fab.

I'd give him the benefit of the doubt in this way if he tried his best and couldn't make the grade, but not if he just didn't care enough to try...which is what the early rumors seem to suggest has happened.
