deserves better? Maybe if the networks didnt bash the conference every chance they got and ridicule it and its members then it would have had a fighting chance. Instead the networks changed its perception nationally completely over the years and wondered why they could never get a team ranked.

Wasn't Dodd one of the guys that always wrote that the Big East should be stripped of it's auto-bid? It's almost like he looked down and saw the blood on his hands, and wrote this article to try to blame others for the current situation while looking like an innocent bystander himself.
