the dome team is the worst. how does this happen?

i blame meathead high school football coaches for no one being able to throw up here. the southern meatheads caught on out of neccessity.

could it also be so many of these schools are built with mostly kids from the area? i dont see most of the southern schools using NE kids for the skill spots other than QB and when they do its the 4-5 star NE kid.

yeah, that's what i was getting at. northeastern coaches don't know how to coach offense.

look at how much the pauluses - relative to the rest of the northeast, they were completely amazing but they weren't as good as other southern qbs. they stuck out like a sore thumb because we have so many northeastern high school coaches that never throw the ball. no one could defend it because they never see anyone that passes

cecil howard going 18-47 as a senior for the whole year was the best northeast qb recruit.

marrone blew it including QB in the NYC centric recruiting. he eventually figured it out (recruited the other allen) but left too soon.

we need 7 on 7 up here. there's nothing magical about texas qbs, they just practice a lot

Ironically some of the greatest qb's have come from Pennsylvania. What's even funnier about that, none played for PSU.

our HS coaches are stuck in the same rut.. if you dont have a big oline or a fast RB why bother trying to play that style. you dont have to be a great WR to get open in HS and you dont need a really good QB either, kids will get open if you run decent plays.

that was a while ago though before qbs in the south really started throwing a lot and before they let black guys throw

Well my man Wilson is going to prove you wrong! Just as Nassib already did...hahaha.

I get your point though, having good athletes at qb was always smart and luckily for us SU was ahead of that curve.
