Cooney should not come back we have 2 guard in this class who can ball

"Triche is so inconsistent and Scoop can't shoot that great, it will be so great to have a deadeye SHOOTER at the guard spot once Cooney gets here!"

I remember that line of thinking. Be careful with hyping guys who haven't played college bball yet, it's a big step for a lot of them.

I'd rather have both guys, and if Malachi is that great he will force his way into PT no matter what. But if he's not ready for big time minutes, we'll have the 5th year senior who at times has played very well.

We have a winner! Everyone thinks the next year's recruits are going to fix everything.

I mean, I'm excited about our freshman class and I'd like to think they'll add quality depth and hopefully at least one or two of them is ready to contribute in a big way. But it doesn't always happen in year 1. See Roberson/Patterson/Johnson as a freshmen, or the Roberts(he sort've contributed but was not the next John Wallace or Coleman like some expected), Watkins, Nichols, McCroskey class which gave us very little as freshmen despite coming in with a lot of hype.

Yup. The Roberts class comes to mind when I look at next year. Could be great...or maybe not. Only time will tell. The returning players are what I am excited about, especially if McCullough AND Coleman get healthy in time.

We've seen it year after year on here. I mean, my 3 sons wasnt that long ago.

Ill never forget how Paul Harris was the next lebron james and we were going to win at least one and perhaps two ships if he staid more than one year. That Flynn guy was offered just as a favor to Harris
