The Official Last Game of the Season thread

15 and 12 to finish his career. Not an efficient game, but another good one for Rak.

Congrats on one of the all time great seasons in CUSE history. Good luck in the pros Rakeem

What - this is eerily similar to the UVa game (but even worse).
We looked in control 16 minutes into the game, and then everything went to

I guess I'm the type that wants to see it first. Christmas, while never an offensive threat until this year, certainly showed he belonged at the level. I'm not sure we can say that about some of this year's team.

I want to believe COleman and McCullough will be big time players next year, and yes I do believe CMC could be an 18/9 type. However, both are coming off serious injuries and CMc already said he doesn't expect to be back until December. Who knows if that remains the timeline. And I've never been impressed with Coleman's ability, and now after two lost seasons with knee issues, who knows what he can even provide, if anything?

Same thing with the freshman. We all know that it can be tough to rely on frosh, so I want to see them at this level before talking about greatness.

McCullough's late start that he will likely get is a valid point and concern, no question.

But other than that, I think he's a pretty good bet to be a very good player for us next year.

Coleman's injuries are more of a concern. But he was probably the best rebounder on our team his first two years, and while it was slow improvement he was better offensively as a soph. than a freshman.

I'm not expecting a ton out of the freshmen. I've learned not to do that. But with McCullough, Roberson, and Coleman I think there's potential to have a strong frontcourt. Gbinje should have a bigtime year(I assume good players with eligibility will come back...can't think of ANY who haven't unless they were encouraged to leave like Devo and Harris), Cooney can be a good player in a lesser role. Key is Joseph.

We just can't score. Worst offensive team in over 25 years. The team needs to be totally overhauled for next year. JB was right when he said major changes. I hate to say this but... keep Roberson, Cooney, G and McCullough and DC2 and encourage everyone else to leave. Add Bryant to the incoming class and that's your 10. After next season Cooney, G and McC leave and there is room to add Moyer, Battle, and 1 more. Solved.

As to coneys mom, think about the emotions of everybody over the past few months, Trevor has been hurt and playing his second to last season, one of his best friends is leaving (Rakeem), changes are coming for the program.

It's been a tumultuous and trying season it's not surprising to see emotions flowing from parents right now.

Also some moms just cry when seasons end, first or last is irrelevant.. I know because my mom was one who always cried when my seasons ended.

Your last sentence is the biggest. He should be better, but he needs to be A LOT better, especially running the show and on top of the zone. We can't win without good PG play.
