Last year we had the worst record in in 50 yrs and the worst defensive team efficiency wise in the advanced analytics (kpom) era.

This year we have the worst team in 50 yrs even if the record isn't worse than last year. The defense being worst ever continues to pull away from last year.

The 2023 class, because of this year's large class ( as explained to us) will be the worst recruiting class in what rankings data is available.. pending transfers which depends on attrition.. which may make the 22 class lose its shine.

This will be the 5th or 6th year in the last 9 we have last at least 5 games in the dome.

If we win one of the next two we at least about breaking the home losses record in the JB era? Have to check that one.

Also all of this year's blunders amidst the weakest conference slate we have faced in some 50 yrs and for sure in the conference strength rankings era.

Now also the very first two year period with absolutely zero post season berth. We are off the NIT bubble.

Finally - have we averaged less than 19k attendance at the dome in a year? Or ever had a worse home mbb attendance figure?

I have a feeling Jim has everyone in his back pocket. He has built up “equity” according to Wildhack. He’s been at the helm so long and has had so much success that he’s basically untouchable. He knows that. He very much knows that or he wouldn’t have made the comments he made. He will coach as long as he feels like it.

The thing about the portal is that kids want playing time. We should have plenty of minutes available.
