UConn doesn't really have a lot of bad losses. They've lost to one team outside the top 100 in the Pomeroy ratings, and that was @Rutgers, who is barely outside the top 100. UCF has lost to Louisana Lafayette and Rice, for instance.

Very adroit switch from rpi to Pomeroy. RU's rpi is 153 and Tennesee's is 102. Don't know why you are denigrating UCF- I am not making the case for them although they do have a win over a team with an rpi of 24. I am just pointing out that it is absurd that a team with a bubble resume has an rpi rating of 24 and that people (including the Committee) put such stock in the rpi.
