I didn’t agree with Bronco's comment about SYR being a, "limited resource program." But we can forgive him, he helped us get Dr. Bob and Jason Beck. Let bygones be bygones.

Mendenhall describes Beck as a calming force, no matter the situation. "I used Jason for all of the stress management and two-minute-crisis timeout management situations because he is unflappable. You cannot rattle him."

I wonder if this has helped Dino's game management (ie, having all 3 time outs late against Purdue).

Eh, we are. Mostly on the recruiting side via geography. Can't change that. But the portal helps and so does good coaching.

Interesting that Beck was already hired before Anae. I think the prevailing belief around here was they were a package deal. Doesn't seem that was the case at all.

" Coaching matters" post..
Its because at this level it matters an incredible amount. Especially at a school like SU that is never going to be able to out recruit its way to success.
Im not sure what can be done to retain Dr. Bob,
Coach White, Beck, Schmidt, Swag, and Lig but to me these 6 coaches are critical and we need to keep them.

If we had last years staff i could easily see us sitting at 3 wins.
