Most of the current SU players and students were in elementary school when P coached here. It means very little to them. As evidenced on this board, many fans can't let it go, but for me, the nightmare of the GRob years purged any lingering feelings I may have harbored.
My main focus is securing bowl eligibility

Just get the 6th win. then Ill feel confident that we can get at least one of the last three and end 7-5. Then next year we can raise the bar on expectations it being DM turnover year ( Most of the players will be his recruits)

First off, why do so many of you think we have equal talent? UCONN has won 2 BE title shares in the past 5 years, how many do we have? UCONN has beaten us both times under Marrone. Was it their superior coaching? Maryland isn't thinking so at this point. So if it wasn't the coaching, then it must have been their players. Do they have a QB issue? yup. Do they still have better players across the board? History seems to think so.

As for P, I know I've made some posts poking fun at him since taking over at UCONN. It's not that I don't like the man, but until the ACC invite came, we were UCONN's little bitches and honestly unless we win on Sat then we still are, I just won't care since BE games mean almost nothing to me at this point. What I'm getting at is I don't dislike P anymore than the rest of the BE coaches. Fact is I've called Holgorsen a deranged child molester, there's Mr Shady himself, HCRE was a complete douche, Rrod was pure evil. Brian Kelly was a stuck up pretty boy, Petrino was a money whore, Pornstache was just Pornstache, I hate anything Holtz, and Butch Jones is a Brian Kelly wannabe. Charlie Strong can simply go F himself after last week. Did I miss anyone?

If you take out the 3 hours during a game, which even some of the most positive posters take the gloves off in the heat of the moment, this is a pretty positive place.

Wondering what our offense is going to be like, since we hired an offensive background head coach, isn't being negative. It's a good discussion. Do some of the comments go over the top? Sure. But it's not like coming to a new website has made us all rookies at this here message boarding...
