Struggling this season is fine. We are young and not ultra talented.
Growing as a team is expected.

The problem is right confidence in the Hall of fame head coach turning this around AND having a good transition to the next coach appear bleak.

Just listen to JB in his press conference the criticism for Sidibe and rebounding of the team. If he doesn’t realize we have sucked on the boards for a decade then I don’t get it.
The zone causes a lot of offensive rebounds for our opponents. He has said himself we don’t teach kids to box out it’s just get the ball.
When you have better players the numbers are closer.

The pessimism from on the basketball team the past 5 years+ has been the tab we were acquiring and was going to come due as the HC wasn’t fixing the problems. Well just because this team isn’t the most talented doesn’t mean the struggles are their fault.

The next HC isn’t going to come close to Jim Boeheim success but the program will not become anythin more than an average to slightly above average team the next 2+ year plus.

Problem is JB is thin skinned about this stuff from what he says publicly so we are in trouble. Recruiting/Player development are his jobs.

Well said and we should all be concerned.
