We'll play 5 ranked teams on the road. GTech will be ranked tomorrow with SMU hovering around#25 (that would be 6). Most teams havent even played a P4 opponent yet this year and most of them that did it was at home.

#5 Strength of Schedule if you go by this SI article preseason. Likely our schedule is becoming more manageable than it was a month ago but still.

The defense was good enough. And they were able to run effectively when they wanted to.

I know most of your post is about the D, but we don't even try to run the football. We came out Friday against Colgate slinging it around. It was the complete opposite of what I felt we should do with Colgate.

I don't think we can survive on a straight passing offense this season.

Well, we also played UConn and didn't look too good beating them. UConn went on to lose to Delaware this week. Hopefully we can get a lot better. But we are going to need to.
