Hopefully the WMU D drinks a lot of water and doesn't cramp up a lot, especially when SU is moving the ball extremely well.

With coach Lester's connection to FHCSS, I put it at even money we see a few cases of Dinoitis this evening. 4 is the over under according to Vegas.

I mean, we punted from the opponent's 32.
A decision, iirc, that led to megarnering a lengthy ban from this board because i posted "nice punt" d*#!, which was towards the head coach but perceived by the mods as an attack on the player. I was not given an opportunity to appeal and explain my post.
I got so frustrated with Shafer's decision-making. I mean, who punts from the opposing team's 32? Did he ever go for it on 4th down?

He actually went for it a lot his last season.

WMU will definitely take deep shots, they have a couple of WRs who can run. Will we be able to adjust to that, and still stop the run consistently? Or get to the QB so he doesn't have time to get a good throw off?

There will be some bumps in the road tonight, but over the course of the game, we'll do more right than wrong and win.

Yup. Tonight is the opportunity for Syracuse Football to make a statement.

And with a senior QB, strong OL, etc. I don't envision this being a rock fight. We need to put a bunch of points on the board tonight. Don't want to allow them to keep game close deep into the second half.

Would love to see us step on their throats early and take the wind out of their sails -- like how KJ returning the opening kick against Wisconsin totally deflated them and set the tone for the rest of the game.

Maybe I am mis-remembering but didn't SU have the ball deep in the red zone 5 or so and get drivin back to the 32 via sacks and penalties?
