Why do these guys take helicopters? I would be terrified

I've been saying this for years. Seems like there's a helicopter crash every week. I've done hanggliding, i'd do skydiving, but i don't trust helicopters. The statistics are probably fine, but they just seem dangerous.

They're saying it was his own helicopter and he would take it routinely from home to games/practice, so he's probably had hundreds or thousands of trips on it.

Truly hope it's not true that his daughters were on with him. As if what we 'know' isn't enough.
