I've been frustrated with TD, but have always been a support and know he's the better QB. If Rex were, he would have beat DeVito for the starting job last year and this year.

Who’s to say he stays in the pocket like Rex does? That’s a big part of some of the success of the offense. Rex staying in there

I don't know that we would have ever been in the game if Rex didn't start. He clearly has nowhere near the talent level that TD does but TD focuses on one player, only rolls to his right, and holds on to the ball way too long. Clemson might have had a field day and we would have said, "well the o-line sucks so TD never had a chance".

I think the opposite is true. If we had a decent level QB that also has good field awareness (makes quick decisions, sees the field well, and distributes the ball around the field) we would be in a much better position and the o-line would look a lot better. There's a reason why the o-line seems to do better with Rex in as QB. It's not that they somehow just improved in a week.

No I don’t miss him. He may not have thrown 3 picks but woulda been sacked 10 times

Tommy wouldve made better throws when he actually got them off but I can’t help but think he would’ve been sacked or ran out of bounds for losses 45 times.

We were in the game up to halftime. I don’t hate Tommy but he has not shown that he is a capable D1 QB yet in the last two years. At least Culpepper kept us in in up to the third quarter.

Tommy probably gets sacked 12 times this game. Rex had a quick release. The interceptions are better than not even throwing the ball

Culpepper shouldn’t be 2nd best QB in the program that is on Dino.

I don’t think Devito has played well this season. He is better than Culpepper though.

With TD at QB we might not have seen 27-21 in the first place. Rex was about as bad as a QB could be from the fumble until he was taken out. But he did some nice things before then. TDs numbers would have been a lot better, but I don't think we would have been within two scores at any point in the game with TD at QB. That is the problem not TD's numbers but the team's number (ie points).

We need a new QB next year; DeVito can grad transfer somewhere else. Hope we can land a dual threat QB like Taisun Phomachaun to compete with Lamson, Morgan and Markiewicz

Rex didn't do a single one of those thing son those INTs. They were dumb decisions and weak throws but they didn't come from locking on a player, only throwing to one side the entire game, nor waiting too long to throw the ball.

Having said that. I'd be happy with a QB rotation of Jacoborgan and Dillionwitz the rest of the way.
