Today's Poll: Would Batavia be a good place to build a new stadium ...

As a UB student I think it'd potentially be nice. Though there's been word of the Bills desire to build a new stadium on UB's north campus and share it with the Bulls.

It would be great. All they'd need to do is erect a circular wall around those lush turf farms you can see from the Thruway.
Make it a semi-circle, install some toll booths and become the first NFL team to offer drive-by viewing of games. New revenue stream!

fwiw i'd have every reason to favor this if i thought it would do anything at all for batavia (don't live there now but most of my family is still there.). it would be great to be able to get drunk, stumble to my parents and have them ask me how old I am.

but it's a horrible idea. traffic would be backed up so much worse than it is in orchard park. whatever you gain from rochester, you lose from southern ontario.

is southern ontario giving you that much??

granted im not for this, but i would think that given the choice between rochester and toronto, rochester wins.

i dont trust canadian fans, they already have their own league and primarily like another sport anyway...curling.

and then throw in hockey and id stick with rochester.

it's not just toronto. just about everyone in canada lives between toronto and buffalo. they get more from southern ontario than rochester now, i think. the insane drunken upper deck jumping craziness appeals to canadian sensibilities.

kitchener, hamilton, st catherines - lots of people

Yep, in terms of long term population growth, it would make all the sense in the world to put a stadium closer to Ontario.

Is Niagara Falls, NY still high on the list? Would traffic be an issue for that location?

Move the team to Syracuse.
