Tony White to FSU

Why would Tony take this job, he has to be getting HC offers no? I mean, unless he thinks cleaning up the mess at FSU for one year will translate into a P4 HC position.
The money and guaranteed years must be good. I’m not a big fan of taking a coordinator/assistant job when the head coach has one year to turn it around or get kicked out.

Oh...wow. Seems dangerous. I don't know if Norvell would still be there if FSU had A+M level buyout funding, and every year that buyout gets smaller.

They've got maybe three years to go from 2-10 to 10-2.

Apparently the new DC at FSU - don’t blame him at all for making that move.
Good for Tony.

Not sure Matt Rhule is going to last much longer at Nebraska. Tony might be getting out at just the right time. I know his DL coach is coming with him (and probably most of the rest of the Husker defensive staff).

Kudos to FSU for big boying Nebraska and taking their stuff. Not sure how the hell FSU is buying for this but you have to be impressed with their relentless spending of money, regardless of whether it makes sense or not.

Tony did a good job at SU and I think his defenses put up even better numbers at Nebraska. But at Nebraska, he was facing some of the worst offenses at the P4 level. He will have to adjust to ACC offenses again. Let's see how he does.

Nebraska has a bunch of guys from the Northeast on their roster. Vincent Jackson and Elijah Jeudy are two of interest. And of course there is Stefon Thompson.

I am sure a bunch of his players will follow him to FSU.

FSU has the money to get Gus Malzahn as their new OC and Tony as the new DC. You'd think they could afford to get rid of Norvell.
