Bama and UGA for sure. After that will be interesting.

It should probably be Clemson (if they win tonight ) and ND - they have the best wins. But it will probably be Wisconsin and OSU. Wisconsin's schedule is so, so bad

Ohio State (blech) should be an easy one also, no?

Not too sure about easy. Oklahoma would appear to have a beef with that. They also have one loss and went into Columbus and stomped on OSU. OSU has played a cupcake schedule with their lone quality win coming today by one point at home.

Good point

2. Georgia
3. Ohio State
4. Notre Dame

5. Wisconsin
6. Clemson

Bama
UGA
OSU
Wisc

ND
Ped St
Miami

Wisc plays such a soft schedule but if they go undefeated then they're in and if they lose just once they're probably out cuz of that weak schedule.

nd
ohio state

Oklahoma, suddenly the loss to Iowa St doesn't look as bad as before
But it will probably be Ohio St as number 4

A lot of folks have Ohio State in their top 4. Not really sure why. They may be one of the top four teams but that's based more on projection than their resume. They've played two worthy opponents - both in Columbus. Got decisively beaten by OU and trailed PSU for 58+ minutes and then won by one point. The other six opponents would not even remotely be within hailing distance of the top 50 and only one (Army) has a winning record.

That's called the "Urban Meyer Effect", which is very similar to the "Nick Saban Effect" for a one, or even two-loss, Bama. And throw in the 'conference on a pedestal' effect as well. Put it all together and you get the same political selections.

Alabama
Georgia
Notre Dame

#4 is wide open. I like the Clemson & Oklahoma resumes best. OK vs OkSt this weekend is huge. Big 10 resumes are not strong OOC.

#4 Clemson (w Auburn @VT/ L at Syracuse)
#5 Oklahoma (w @Ohio State / L at Iowa State)

still watching the game OSU-PSU.. PSU got a kick return. a INT reversed that led to a TD and an INT reversed that was ruled a TD. OSU was the better team much of the game and should have won easier.

Ok loss to ISU now looks much better, so if you put OSU in where does that leave OK who did thump them. does Wisc get in even if they run the table. what if georgia thumps Ala are they out? you could end up with bunch of 2 loss teams that all have bad losses.

There no way a 1 loss ND jumps from 9 to 4 over a 1 loss Clemson that is already ranked higher.

1 Bama
2 Georgia
3 Ohio State
4 Clemson

5 Wisconin
6 ND

its not jumping as the polls have no factor in what the committee does

I think I saw ND 3 in AP poll
