Top SU dunks?

http://www.syracuse.com/axeman/inde...e_of_the_top_10_in_college_hoops_history.html

Saw this article today, was a great dunk and because it was the final four I think it gets a slightly higher rank. I still think the most incredible Hak dunk I ever saw was during a Notre dame game where he was flat footed and threw down on someone.

finally found it
There have to be several categories.

Artistry: Sherman's "long snap" to Stephen Thompson

Importance and Emotional Satisfaction: CJ Fair slamming in Otto Porter's puss in OT during Big East Tourney 2 years ago.

Greatest Call: Has to be the dunk above. "BRING YOUR LUNCH!" Raf is the best. What does that even mean?

I read the title really quick and thought it was top SU drunks. I was all ready to nominate CuseTroop . Good luck if you ever try to keep up with that guy. Someone that thin shouldn't be able to drink that much.

But back to the topic at hand, the Hak dunk over the ND guy is the winner. I've seen it a thousand times and still can't believe he pulled that off.

Everytime I watch it, I try to pretend I don't know what's coming so I can relive the utter surprise and awe.

Johnny Flynn should also get a mention for his dunk on Rosario.

mcroskey had one against Uconn when we were getting beaten pretty badly that was probably top ten

it's real hard to pick the best of warrick's

melo had a great one against georgetown

Slightly switching gears...

Best dunkERS of the last 25 years?

Hak
Stevie
CJ

Those are the three that immediately spring to mind. Who else would you put on that list?

I may or may not be using these ideas for publication...ahem...

I will always remember the Mcroskey dunk for two reasons. It was an absolutely vicious dunk, and his actions after the dunk would have made you think we weren't getting run out of the gym.

Flynn vs Rosario
Paul Harris to end the half against Pitt i believe was great
CJ vs GTown, Cornell, and one other where he just dropped the hammer on a guy
Hak tea bag, flat footed dunk, and many more
Wes Johnson had a great one on a fast break, possibly against depaul

I should not that i really started following in 1994 and became a heavy follower in 2001 so i would love to hear of some earlier big time dunks.

The best dunker on the hill was Red Bruin. Warrick was a close second. Tony would take off dribbling baseline and the whole crowd would start getting excited. The amazing thing would be that he would jump off both feet, dunk with both hands and almost stretch out horizontally. He had a few against DePaul that left me speechless.

Louie taunting Armstrong after that was just incredible

David Johnson. Wes Johnson. Duany was also well-regarded by his teammates and then promptly forgotten with Warrick's arrival.

warrick irish #1
texas teabag #2

jerami g. was good but stevie t.was great. best finisher ever in d1. imo.

Warrick had a good one against Emeka Okafor. I use to have it as wallpaper. When I get to my computer I will look for it and post. But I thought I saw someone here using it as an avatar once upon a time.

We have had so many great dunkers and great dunks, I find it hard to choose the top one(s). Remember the fast break days and dunking where each game some fans kept track of the number above one of the 300 sections?

Didn't Dave Johnson have a monster dunk on someone? I was young, but that seems to ring a bell.

Hak teabag, against ND, at Miami, against Alabama, and a couple against Mizzou.
Jonny Flynn kills Rosario
CJ against GTown in the BET

So, who's the best? http://.com/whos-the-best-orange-dunker-of-the-last-25-years/

Kept it to just the last 25 years, starting with Stevie's senior season up until now.

This was on Valentines Day, too.
